social media, newsletters & everything in between
I helped shape how the community experienced it beyond the mic; managing social media and keeping content consistently alive across platforms, and curating monthly newsletters that pulled together episodes, articles and guest highlights.

content and community, on and off the mic
from the ground up, I developed podcast topics and guest lineups, shaping the conversations and people behind each episode.
beyond the screen, I helped run events that brought the community together in person, keeping that same tight-knit feeling alive outside socials.

bringing the community's own stories into the mix
developed the concept for fox tales, a storytelling series built around real experiences shared by listeners and guests, designed to deepen community engagement and create a more personal connection beyond the podcast episodes.

every cover told part of the story
curated artwork from small creators that reflected each episode's themes, giving the podcast a distinctive and consistent visual tone.

working around the algorithm
curious fox had been shadow banned on social media before I joined, simply for talking openly about sex and relationships.
rather than fighting a system stacked against the content, I shifted focus toward channels we actually owned — facebook groups, newsletters and patreon — building direct relationships instead of relying on reach we didn't control.
it taught me that real engagement isn't about visibility, it's about people finding something worth exploring further, something worth talking about beyond the post itself.
